Urbanização de Curitiba S/A (URBS) is a mixed-capital company that manages public facilities and spaces, in addition to the transportation system in the city of Curitiba.

The entire public transport system in Curitiba, with its terminals, is part of the company's administrative purpose, however, it is not the only one. URBS manages the "Mercado Municipal Capão Raso" (formerly Shopping Popular) and the "Mercado Central", the "Arcadas de São Francisco", the "Centro Comercial Rui Barbosa", the "Centro de Eventos Positivo " (former Curitiba Exhibition Center located inside Barigui Park), Ruas da Cidadania, Rua 24 Horas, the Rodoferroviária de Curitiba (where its headquarters are located), the "#CuritibaSuaLinda" stores, in addition to some parking lots, newsstands and public restrooms throughout the city. It also operates the concession and inspection of the taxi fleet and transport applications , such as Uber , 99 , motofrete and school transport.

As for the public transport system, recognized as one of the best in Brazil, it has already received national and international awards, such as the one granted by the British institution "Building and Social Housing Foundation". Another is the Worldwatch Institute's classification of the system as "exemplary ".
