The Careggi University Hospital is the largest polyclinic hospital in Florence , one of the main in Italy, located in the Careggi area , in the northern part of the city.

 

The objectives and choices of the Tuscan health policy aim at improving the health and well-being of the population, at the satisfaction and participation of the citizen and place the citizen with his rights at the center of the action. The Service Charter represents the pact between the NHS structures and the citizens and aims to provide adequate knowledge of the activities offered, how to access treatment, and to promote the improvement of the quality of services.

The Company's performance is based on the principles:

  • impartiality: the services are provided by adopting objective, fair and impartial behavior towards users

  • efficiency and effectiveness: efficiency is the ability to obtain the best possible results on the basis of available resources; effectiveness is the ability to achieve the set goals.
