CERFODES (Centre d’Études, de Recherches et de Formation pour le Développement Économique et Social)

The Center for Studies, Research and Training for Economic and Social Development (CERFODES) is a structure whose objectives and missions are to provide technical support to Institutions, Professional Organizations and Associations through action research, operational research, participatory training, advisory support and the mobilization of technical and financial partners at the national and international levels. CERFODES has multidisciplinary intellectual skills capable of carrying out the training and studies and research that are commissioned. Among the various human resources available, there are: one (01) demographer with more than twenty years of experience in the fields of research and evaluations in health, education and institutional capacity building; two (02) sociologists with extensive experience in the collection, processing and analysis of qualitative and quantitative data; one (01) socio-economist; two (02) statisticians, database managers. This expertise is supported by administrative staff, including an accounting secretary, two drivers, a liaison officer, an office manager, two cleaning staff, three security officers and consultants of various profiles (doctors, sociologists, pharmacists, communicators, gender specialists, agronomists, geographers, etc.) called upon occasionally or over long periods for the execution or implementation of work entrusted to CERFODES. In addition, CERFODES has built up a large base of field agents including experienced investigators, controllers and supervisors with experience in conducting and collecting quantitative and qualitative socio-demographic data relating to areas of intervention such as health, education, agriculture, gender, child protection and labor, etc.
