UNISO - University of Sorocaba

University of Sorocaba - Uniso is a community, regional, non-confessional University of quality, whose first seed was the Faculty of Philosophy Sciences and Letters of Sorocaba, created in 1951, that began to work effectively in 1954, with two courses: Pedagogy and Letras Neolatinas, and only 27 students. Today, Uniso has more than 60 undergraduate courses, offers lato and stricto sensu postgraduate courses, and extension courses. Its students come from 70 cities, located within a 100 kilometer radius around Sorocaba, and are distributed in three campuses: University City Professor Aldo Vannucchi, inaugurated in 1999; Campus Trujillo, where the Faculty of Philosophy, Sciences and Letters was established in 1954; and Campus Seminary, since 1994.
