Associazione Italiana di Storia Orale - AISO

Associazione Italiana di Storia Orale - AISO was established in Rome to respond to the invitation made by IOHA (International Oral History Association) to Italian scholars and researchers of oral history, during the International Congress held in Rome in 2004, to organize a structure capable of gathering, organizing and putting into communication the many realities of research and use of oral sources, promoted both by individuals and by bodies, institutes and associations, present in our country. Participation is open to both individuals and bodies, institutions or associations that meet the research criteria promoted by AISO. The scientific management is entrusted to a committee and a president elected every two years by the members' assembly.
