Tropical Forest and Rural Development

TF-RD is a Cameroonian association for conservation and sustainable development fights for the reduction of poverty, the protection of ecosystems and endangered species for the benefit of local communities living around Protected Areas (PA) in Cameroon. It also works for the promotion of ecotourism and local development projects on the biosphere of the DJA. 

Tropical Forest also uses ecotourism as an economic pillar for the development of local communities. The activities of the NGO aim to develop simple tourist services which above all benefit the host communities and which contribute to the protection of their natural resources and their cultural identities.
