United Way of Haldimand and Norfolk

United Way of Haldimand & Norfolk is dedicated to creating the opportunities people need to improve their lives and build a better future, by addressing not only the symptoms of the problems, but also getting at the root causes. United Way of Haldimand and Norfolk funds programs that help people move from poverty to possibility, and encourage kids to grow up to be all that they can be, all while creating strong, healthy communities.

What We Do:

• All that kids can be is a focus area where we look to improve access to early childhood learning and developmental programs, to help children and youth do well in school and complete high school.
• Our focus on Healthy People, Strong Communities is apparent in the way that we aim to educate and engage the community.
• From Poverty to Possibilitys' focus is to implement services and programs that will provide stability - basic human needs such as getting and keeping employment; finding affordable housing and methods of transportation; and being able to access food or shelter. We want to ensure that families and individuals have immediate support to avoid or move out of poverty.
