The Škrateljc Institute was founded in May 2015 by dr. Uroš Grilc and Nina Peče Grilc for greater participation of different age groups in culture, promotion of movement in nature and development of creative tourism products. We offer a wide selection of comics, fairytale picture books and nature experiences that bring history and heritage to life and bring it closer to readers. Based on stories from picture books, fairy-tale adventure trails were created that offer children a special experience and a unique adventure in nature.

The institute achieves its purpose by carrying out various activities , such as publishing books, creating family fairy-tale-experience trails in nature and implementing other programs that combine creativity, cultural heritage and tradition and a healthy way of life in an innovative way .
