Ever since POLA was founded in 2009, different generations, nationalities and aptitudes have been conjoined in our company. Around two dozen people from the fields of open-space design, architecture, construction engineering, communications and the humanities are working together on the design of memorable places.

We are an office that specialises in public tenders, and we love taking on challenges at different scales. We want to be bold and stand up for our convictions – even at the risk of causing a stir. We believe that even failure helps us grow, as long as we remain authentic. And we look for beauty, usually or especially in the imperfect, in the ephemeral. All of this is what makes our work so appealing.
