Houston Energy is a privately held independent oil and gas exploration company focused on Deepwater energy resources. We organize and participate in energy exploration partnerships where our primary role is prospect generation and lease acquisition. Houston Energy was founded in 1988 and built a record of successful exploration in the onshore Gulf Coast and the Gulf of Mexico Shelf. We made our first Deepwater discovery in April 2009 on our Santa Cruz Prospect at Mississippi Canyon Block 519. Since then we have made 26 discoveries in 34 attempts in the Deepwater for an industry leading success ratio of 79%. We are an experienced staff of industry professionals using proven technology to find energy resources.
