Centro Alta Tecnologia Istituto Di Ricerche Chimiche E Biochimiche G. Ronzoni was founded as a spin-off of the Ronzoni Institute with the aim of providing the chemical industry (pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical) with non-routine analytical research and characterization using advanced techniques. The CAT has an agreement with the Ronzoni Institute for the use of its fully automated set of instruments: this eliminates management dead times and considerably increases the analytical potential. This organizational structure makes it possible to provide the business world with direct access to complex instruments without increasing the investment cost, against the pro-rata distribution of depreciation costs and onerous management costs.
