Plavalna Zveza Slovenije / The Swimming Association of Slovenia

The Swimming Association of Slovenia (hereinafter: PZS) is a voluntary, independent, non-profit association of swimming clubs that operate in the field of swimming sports, namely swimming, long-distance swimming, diving, synchronized swimming and a variety of other recreational water/swimming activities.

 
The PZS is a member of the Olympic Committee of Slovenia - an association of sports federations and cooperates with other organizations in the Republic of Slovenia that work in the field of developing sports and sports-recreational activities and that contribute to the development of related activities.

 
PZS recognizes the world swimming organization FINA as the only body in the world in charge of swimming, water polo, diving and synchronized swimming. The aim of the PZS is to encourage the quantity and quality of sports swimming, long-distance swimming, diving, synchronized swimming and recreational water/swimming activities (hereinafter referred to as swimming sports) and thus contribute to the all-round development of only - this.
