Jogriporter Alapítvány / Rights Reporter Foundation (RRF)

Hungarian activists established the non-profit Rights Reporter Foundation (RRF) to promote the rights of vulnerable groups. The organization's vision of an ideal society includes the involvement of vulnerable populations in the development and implementation of human rights-respecting, evidence-based policies that have a positive impact on them.

Its work primarily focuses on drug users, sex workers, and HIV-positive individuals, but it also works with other stigmatized communities, including LGBTQ individuals, members of ethnic minorities, immigrants, refugees, and homeless individuals.

The organization aims to give a voice to disadvantaged populations, educate the public on the importance of evidence in policymaking, and enhance NGOs' advocacy efforts through technical support and training.

The RRF team is situated in Budapest, and while the majority of the organization's efforts are focused on the continent of Europe, it has collaborated with a number of NGOs outside of the continent, in places like New Zealand, Canada, Mexico, and Indonesia.
