Acv Bouw-industrie & Energie

Acv Bouw-industrie & Energie as the power station has been called since the merger conference of 5 June 2010, was created from the merger of ACV-Bouw en Industrie and ACV Energie Chemie. With its 13,000 militants, ACVBIE defends the interests of almost 260,000 members (ACV has +/- 1.6 million members). ACVBIE has approximately 190 employees.

This increase in scale has many advantages :

ACVBIE has a head start in the debate on the common status for blue-collar and white-collar workers;
ACVBIE weighs more heavily on industrial policy;
