About
The Lebanese Observatory for Workers' and Employees' Rights (Al-Marsad/LOWE R) is an independent non-profit civil society. It was founded by a group of activists, trade unionists and jurists. The observatory is concerned with social and economic rights, and supports the rights of workers, in terms of their freedom to establish trade unions and enabling them to defend their rights in the workplace. The Observatory believes in the principles of freedom, equality and justice. In his defense of the rights of all workers residing on Lebanese soil, he relies on international and Arab conventions and the recommendations of the International Labor Organization.
