HMC is the umbrella name for three hospital locations. HMC Antoniushove in Leidschendam, HMC Bronovo near Wassenaar and Scheveningen and HMC Westeinde in the middle of The Hague. Each hospital has its own dynamics and specializations: - HMC Antoniushove: oncological care, in particular colorectal, breast and lung surgery, including (intra-operative) radiotherapy. - HMC Bronovo: Emergency Department, expertise center for the elderly, expertise center for planable surgery (including proctology, inguinal hernia and gallbladder surgery) and concentration of proximal femoral fractures. - HMC Westeinde: emergency department with level 1 trauma center in collaboration with the LUMC, acute highly complex care, including neurovascular and cardiovascular care. As a top clinical hospital (STZ), we train specialists, nurses and other healthcare professionals and conduct clinical scientific research.
