Holzcluster Steiermark GmbH

The company was founded in 2001 develops and implements projects along the value chain of wood to -, and places an emphasis on the timber. While three out of four cluster farms are located in Styria, one in five individuals from Austria and dates from the neighboring countries. In the cluster operations 19,000 people find their jobs and generate around 4.1 billion euros in sales.

The role of the forest cluster Styria lies in the networking between industry, science and politics, in promoting the internationalization efforts with a focus on South-Eastern Europe as well as in service to companies in the forestry and timber industry. Competency areas to be sharpened in the implementation of ideas and as a driver of innovation in the forestry and timber industry further in the future.
