About

We are able to support the Polish state in helping the most vulnerable children and their families through providing different amounts of emergency assistance via supermarket gift cards or multi-purpose mechanisms. SC will work on advocating for a child-centred response in Poland, which puts the needs of children and their communities at the heart of our programming.

Two-thirds of children from Ukraine have now fled their home. Over 3 million people, of which half are children, have crossed the border into Poland. Many children and their families have made the difficult decision to leave their homes, belongings and livelihoods behind in order to escape violence.

Their needs include shelter, money, food and access to school and healthcare. For this reason, our teams are in Poland, to support children and their families crossing the borders from Ukraine and settling in Poland.
