Arua District Farmers Association (ARUDIFA)

ARUDIFA will reach its vision - An empowered farming society with improved food security, nutrition and increased household incomes in Arua District - by promoting increased production of value added marketable agro-products.

This is achieved through:

• Imparting knowledge and skills involved in good agronomic practices and post harvest handling to 10,000 farmers in 5 years for increased production.
• Farmers adding value to their produce especially for rice, sesame, maize, hot-cultural crops, soya beans and coffee.
• Building the capacity of the farmers for better marketing of their produce/ products and being linked to potential markets.
• Investing in business enterprises as a means for operationalising activities and sustainability.
