Biodiversité au Katanga asbl (BAK)

Biodiversité au Katanga asbl (BAK) is a non-profit association under Congolese law dedicated to the preservation of the natural heritage of Katanga. Convinced that the conservation of nature cannot be dissociated from development, our organization conceives all its projects according to the improvement of the condition of both rural and urban populations. Particular emphasis is placed on education and scientific research. We are convinced that hunting and fishing are not necessarily antithetical to nature conservation, provided that wildlife capital is managed in a consistent manner.
