Vietnam National Minerals Export Import Joint Stock Company was established since 1956 with the initial Name: Vietnam National Minerals Export Import Corporation. Minexport is one of leading state owned corporations belong to Ministry of Trade.

Last time as one of biggest state owned corporation of Vietnam government Minexport have duty to import and export all strategy and essential goods to serve government developing as well as protect of socialist republic of Vietnam. By that time the size and the range of import export of Minexport is very large, the main import export items are: Coal, anthracite, cement, mineral ore, petroleum, chemical, fertilizer, iron and steel, pharmaceutical, medical equipment …
The reputation of Minexport is well known domestically as well in international market. Annual import export turnover is about USD 800-900 million, it contribute important part to the development of foreign trade of Vietnam government.
Minexport had received a lot of medals and awards from government.
