Asociatia Producatorilor de Porumb din Romania

APPR - Proud to be a farmer is a professional association made up of agricultural producers, but also representatives of the professional corn chain in Romania. We represent the interests of Romanian corn producers at the national and European level. APPR is part of the European Corn Producers Confederation (CEPM) , which represents the largest corn producing countries in Europe. Main objective: providing technical expertise, economic and professional communication for members and professional organizations of farmers in Romania.

APPR OBJECTIVES:

• Organization of the independent scientific testing network of the most cultivated corn hybrids in Romania (but also of other crops of major interest to Romanian farmers) - the RITAC network .
• Technical consultancy for corn growers (consumption and seed) with the aim of improving profitability for this crop
• Permanent activity of technical-economic assistance offered to farmers for large crops
• Representation of Romanian corn producers at national and European level
• APPR is part of the European Confederation of Corn Producers ( CEPM ) which represents all major corn producing countries at the level of European forums
• APPR - totally independent professional organization, financed by the members of the association
