The iSSP aims to develop and transmit the knowledge necessary for the understanding of public health issues and the implementation of appropriate interventions that make it possible to develop and improve the state of health of populations at national and national level. regional. It tends to become an Institute of reference and excellence in Public Health.

The mission of the ISSP is fourfold and is broken down as follows:

Provide training and conduct research, projects and innovative interventions that meet the health needs of the population in the field of public health

Promote health, with the USJ student and faculty community as well as on a larger scale, the national community, through prevention and health education actions

Coordinate the various actions carried out, internally and externally, by the various professionals concerned with public health at USJ

Play the role of public health expert/consultant on national and international projects and commissions
