About
The Copenhagen Centre is an independent think tank established by the Danish Government in 1998 in response to growing international interest in new social partnerships and corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives. The overriding mission of the Centre is to generate knowledge and bring together business leaders and political decision-makers to debate the changing role of business in society.
The Centre hosts the secretariat of the National Network of Business Leaders and has a strong track record of working with academia as well as senior civil servants, parliamentarians, businesses, trade unions and other social partners. Also, the Centre is member of the European Academy of Business in Society (EABiS) and has working relations with the EU Commission, the UN Global Compact and the World Bank.
