VENIS – Venezia Informatica e Sistemi SpA is the ICT services company and the local electronic communications operator of the Municipality of Venice which has been working for over 30 years on the design, development and implementation of the Information System and the City's Telecommunications Network.

Our mission is to bring innovation to the service of the City and support the Municipality, its investee companies and the Metropolitan City of Venice in ensuring the right to full digital citizenship.

We design and build:

- the municipal information system to improve the processes of the Municipal Administration and provide the Municipality with ever simpler and more efficient tools;

- online services with the aim of bringing the Administration ever closer to citizens and promoting digital culture;

- the network infrastructures of the city of Venice, for those who live there, for those who work there and for those who visit it: the fiber optic broadband network, accessibility through public WiFi, the cabling of buildings, the video surveillance.

Designing, implementing and managing an integrated public information and telecommunications system is a determining factor for the future of the city, for the quality of life of its citizens and for the competitiveness and development of the territory.
