ARBDD - Administratia Rezervatiei Biosferei Delta Dunarii

The Administration of the Reserve has the following attributions:
- administers the natural heritage according to the legal provisions regarding the legal regime of public property, evaluates the ecological condition of the natural heritage of the reserve and initiates scientific research programs in the reserve, based on the management plan, ensures the necessary measures for the conservation and protection of the gene pool and biodiversity;

- administers the fishery resource in the public domain of the state, in accordance with the provisions of the management plan and the regulation of the reserve;

- elaborates and implements the ecological reconstruction programs of the ecosystems in the reserve

- identifies, delimits and proposes to the central public authority for the protection of the environment and forests the modification of the functional areas of the reservation;

- establishes the level of capitalization of natural resources in accordance with their regeneration potential and the support capacity of the ecosystems;

- fulfills the function of environmental authority, under the law, on the territory of the reservation;
