Protection and coordinated management of the Reka-Timavo aquifer through quantitative and qualitative monitoring of underground waters and the territory of the Classic Karst .

The main objective of the project is the coordinated management and protection of the Reka-Timavo aquifer through the quantitative and qualitative monitoring of underground waters and the territory of the Classic Karst. The outputs envisaged for the realization of the project consist in the creation of a single database of hydrodynamic, hydro-chemical and georeferenced data, of unified cartographic bases, in the preparation of cooperation agreements and actions for the promotion and implementation of systems for the reduction of polluting emissions. with particular reference to drinking water, the development of joint intervention systems in emergency situations, the development of joint strategies to prevent and reduce risks, the promotion of measures to save water,
