Brice Inc. was founded in 1961 by the Brice family who moved to Alaska from Florida in the late 1950s. What started out as a small family business of tree clearing, the Brice brothers expanded into a reputable construction company handling remote civil construction.
AND In 2010, the Brice Companies joined Calista and today the companies are operated by the next generation of family. In addition to its headquarters in Anchorage, AK, Brice Civil Constructors has expanded its operations to Louisiana, Texas, and Washington.
Calista Corporation was established in 1971 under the ANCSA and has about 23,000 shareholders. It is one of the largest Alaska Native Corporations in both land mass and population. Calista Corporation is comprised of five holding companies, and 16 subsidiaries, providing services ranging from heavy equipment to construction, public relations to Web development, and telecommunications to remote camp services.
