CODEIS - Corporación para el Desarrollo del Emprendimiento y la Innovación Social

The Corporation for the Development of Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation-CODEIS is a non-profit corporation that works to promote and develop the entrepreneurship and social innovation ecosystem in Ecuador and Latin America; through private and public training, incubation programs, research, and innovation challenges at various scales.

Codeis began its work in 2016, when it brought the world's largest social entrepreneurship university competition “Hult Prize” to Ecuador. This year the first national competition was held, from which the teams that would go to compete in the regional ones would come out. In 2017, Codeis obtained its legal status and continued its work on university campuses throughout the country, so by 2018 it reached 24 cities and 47 university campuses.
