Our history begins in 1979, when Mr. Glauco Bosco Guedes Holanda, together with his wife Dona Angélica Maria Rufino Holanda, founded Comércio e Representações Holanda LTDA, a drug distributor that operated with the sale and representation of drugs and pharmaceutical laboratories.

The market in the hospital medical material sector at that time was still very lacking in product diversity, thinking about it, the company began to include in its product framework those that were for daily consumption, such as, for example, adhesive plasters, alcohol, cotton, between others.

After fifteen years selling wholesale, in 1994 the SHOPPING PROHOSPITAL store was inaugurated , for retail sale on Rua Barão do Rio Branco, in front of the Instituto Dr. José Frota (IJF). The name of the store was born from the need to express the idea of a mall where you can find the widest variety of products in the hospital sector, with the company's growth and expansion in stores, came the entry of the children Glauco Holanda Junior and José Rufino Neto , as a result, business grew and nine more branches were created.
