About
Established in 2008, Practical Solution Consultancy Nepal (PSPL) was registered in Company Register Office, Kathmandu, Nepal. PSPL, a national level consultancy firm, based in Kathmandu is functioning basically in natural resource management, enterprise development and certification activities in all parts of Nepal. It is composed of multiple discipline personnel having an expertise on natural resource management, enterprise development, training facilitation, certification and policy advocacy and governance. We have maintained a roster with more than 100 experts and based on necessity, we call them and their services are procured.
From its establishment, it has provided its services to national and international level organization, which include World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), Nepal and Laos; Nepal Swiss Community Forestry Project (NSCFP); Department of Forests (DoF); Asia Network for Sustainable Agriculture and Bio - resources (ANSAB), National Trust for Nature Conservation (NTNC), Federation of Community Forestry Users, Nepal (FECOFUN), Nepal Foresters’ Association (NFA); Livelihood and Forestry Programme (LFP); Bio - diversity Sector Programme for Siwalik and Terai (BISEP - ST); and Herb and NTFP Coordination Committee (HNCC). Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO); Lutheran World Federation, Practical Action Nepal; Plan Nepal and REDD Forestry and Climate Change Cell / MFSC and National Adaptation Programme of Action / MOE / UNDP Our major programme include:
- Natural resource management including NTFP development and promotion;
- Forest and agriculture based enterprise development;
- Impact assessment and evaluation;
- Policy formulation facilitation, guidelines preparation and advocacy campaign;
- Social mobilization, event management, and capacity building;
- NTFP management, resource inventory and enterprise options identification;
- Market development, study and research;
- Social mobilization and policy advocacy;
- Forest and organic certification.
