The Association of Editors from Romania (AER) organizes the Bookfest event, under the auspices of the Federation of Editors from Romania.

The Romanian Publishers Association was founded in 1991 and is the main professional association of book publishers in Romania, which brings together publishers from all fields of cultural interest.

The Association of Romanian Editors specifically aims to promote quality book reading and writing, to facilitate readers' access to books from a material and informational point of view, thus contributing to a free circulation of ideas, as well as to the integration of Romanian culture and language in the world circuit of values.
