KONČAR – SWITCHGEAR Ltd. has been formed at the end of 2017. after a merger of three sister-companies from KONČAR Group. All three merged companies have a decade-long tradition of independent development of electrical equipment: high voltage apparatus and switchgear, medium voltage apparatus and gas-insulated switchgear, low voltage switchgear and substations. Part of the tradition is intensive continuous development combined with modern materials and technologies.

In the field of medium voltage apparatus and gas-insulated switchgear, customer-oriented development of original and up-to –date solutions, which comply with world trends, has been a long lasting tradition.

Production
The company manufactures electrical equipment for transmission and distribution of electricity. The production capacities are located at two locations.

The Company Management, R&D, technical sector, logistics and production halls for assemblying of high and medium voltage apparatus and gas-insulated switchgear is located in Zagreb – location Borongaj.

The production of air-insulated medium voltage switchgear, low voltage switchgear, Control panels, cubicles and desks is located iz Sesvetski Kraljevec.

Both locations are equipped with adequate assembly lines and test laboratories for carrying out all relevant routine tests.
