Society of Persons with Disabilities Slatina

The Association of Persons with Disabilities was founded in Slatina at the end of 1987. The purpose of the Association is to gather and organize activities and to provide assistance to people with disabilities in all their forms in order to protect and promote health, social and other interests, the exercise of legal rights, public awareness of their specific needs, their empowerment to acquire control over their own lives and actively engage in the community in the area of Slatina and the municipalities of Voćin, Mikleuš, Nova Bukovica, Sopje and Čađavica, the City of Orahovica and Čačinci and Zdenci. Equal opportunities and independent living of people with disabilities in the local community are the vision of UOSI Slatina and the mission is to ensure the social inclusion of OSI through the promotion of their rights and empowerment for independent living and the provision of various social services.
