La Guinéenne de Large Bande is the leading telecommunications infrastructure operator in Guinea .

Responsible for managing the capacity allocated to Guinea on the Africa Coast to Europe (ACE) fiber optic submarine cable, GUILAB enabled Guinea to have, in 2013, for the first time access to an international network in very broadband .

An essential gateway for Guinea's international communications, GUILAB's mission is to provide telecommunications operators with the necessary infrastructure and services to provide all users with quality connectivity at the best price.

The performances achieved since 2013 illustrate the impact of GUILAB on the development of ICT in Guinea: the use of international capacities has been multiplied by more than 300, exceeding 30 Gbps, and the monthly cost of Mbps has been reduced by 4,000 US Dollars less than 5 US Dollars .

GUILAB now offers a range of diversified services to operators and was also the first structure in all sectors to obtain ISO 9001:2015 certification in the Republic of Guinea .

These results were achieved thanks to the unfailing commitment of the Board of Directors and the GUILAB team, whose expertise is recognized.

GUILAB is now a national and even regional benchmark, cited as an example by the World Bank for the governance put in place to ensure operational performance and sustain infrastructure over the long term.
