About
The East African Leadership Institute is the fruit of the initiative of a group of native intellectuals and businessmen from the northern region of Burundi and elsewhere. Having noticed the need for training at the higher level in Burundi, they wanted to meet the country's needs for the most qualified scientific human resources. This idea is widely shared by the administrative officials of Muyinga province and the provinces of Kirundo and Cankuzo. It is created under cover of the non-profit association called Regional Center for Training and Integrated Development which has received the approval of the public authorities by ministerial order No. 530/391 of 16 March 2015 from the Minister of the Interior.
