Unique Foundation The Gambia

Unique Foundation (UF) The Gambia is a charitable organisation founded and incorporated in the Gambia in 2014 under the 2013 Companies Act of the Republic of the Gambia, with registration no: 2014/C699. In 2023, the organisation was incorporated in Nigeria, known as Unique Development Aid Foundation, registered at the Registrar-General of the Corporate Affairs Commission with registration Number: 6932602.

The organisation in The Gambia is in partnership with the Government of The Gambia, through the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education (MoBSE). The Foundation works with vulnerable children, youth, women and rural communities in the Gambia and Nigeria. Focusing on the right to qualitative education, good health, and creating awareness of environmental hygiene and social issues.

The Foundation, since inception in 2014, has focused on implementing projects to improve education qualities in The Gambia and Nigeria, increasing opportunities for underprivileged children to access free-learning materials, study facilities and mentorship; promoting an increased emphasis on the importance of education and providing income-generating skills among underprivileged and unemployed young people.
