The International Center for Endoscopic Surgery (CICE) was created in 1990 by Pr Maurice-Antoine Bruhat in the joint dynamic of the evolution of surgical techniques and new image technologies.

The major innovation represented by laparoscopy in the practice of surgical techniques has simultaneously led to growing educational interest. Recognized as a leader in this minimally invasive surgery in gynecology, the Clermont team has, alongside its clinical activity, felt the establishment of an experimental simulation center dedicated to this teaching.
