The Croatian Ice Hockey Federation is a national sports federation founded on November 9, 1935 in Zagreb and has been a member of the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) since May 7, 1992. The abbreviated name of the association is HSHL, and the name in English is Croatian Ice Hockey Association. The seat of the Association is in Zagreb, Trg Krešimir Ćosića 11. It is the founder and full member of the Croatian Olympic Committee.

The Statute of the Croatian Ice Hockey Association was adopted by the Assembly on September 29, 2015 based on the Law on Associations and the Law on Sports. It defines the provisions on general information and operations of the Association, goals, internal organization and membership, on HSHL bodies and their powers, on the method of decision-making and elections, on the duration of the mandate and on the assets of the Association, as well as on other important issues important for the work of the Association.

The president of the Association is Vjekoslav Jadrešić, the vice-presidents are Duško Janjatović and Ivan Ćelić, and the general secretary is Jasmina Fučkar.
