Habitat for Humanity Greater Baton Rouge

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Baton Rouge is a non-profit, ecumenical housing ministry that works in partnership with qualified, low-income families and the community to eliminate poverty housing through building simple, decent homes. We help build community by involving diverse religious, social and business groups in the construction of homes and neighborhoods.

Throughout our 33-year history, we have renovated or built and sold over 400 homes in the Baton Rouge area, empowering local families and the community to build a lasting legacy. The helping hands of volunteers and the generosity of private and public donations fuel our mission to transform lives and break the cycle of poverty
