ABOUT US

ASASS-Burundi is a non-profit and grass-roots organization established in 2006 to save lives through healthcare and prevention awareness, to empower people through education and training, to end poverty, violence, conflicts and support poor, minorities and bring what people and community need today and forever: foods, shelter, water, schools, clinics, electricity, medicines etc).  

ACHIEVMENTS:

ASASS-BURUNDI has established community clinics one in rural and another in urban areas of Bujumbura, with one secondary college, the elementary and other primary schools in communities with little or no access to basic and mid-level education. ASAS established an orphanage of 86 children who are assisted with school materials, tuitions fees, cloths, shoes, foods, water, sanitation, healthcare and legal services they need.

ASASS also serves both individuals and their communities by assisting the development of community infra-structures through education and employment training programs and by providing shelter for street children, the orphans and other vulnerable people.

This association operates various programs focused on healthcare and prevention, public awareness, hygienic and water, micro-loans, farming, radio documentary and television show program by young people and women, community development, human rights, internship and scholarship, policy development and research, education, training and entrepreneurship skills need of needs of people who currently lack the foundation for a satisfactory life.

THE NEEDS:

ASASS BURUNDI looks for the UK-based Organization to collaborate/partner on the same projects in order to implement the projects in Burundi and support more the vulnerable, the minorities , while building communities infrastructures or bringing what people and communities need: Schools, Water, Clinic, pharmacies, roads, foods, jobs , markets by using three options-“Scholarships, Volunteering and internship”.
