About
The interdisciplinary research consultants (id:rc) is an international consulting firm with offices in Jordan, Iraq, and the US. The id:rc staff combines the experience of senior professionals from a variety of backgrounds, and the firm delivers high quality consulting to address the needs of governmental organizations, private sector entities, and international organizations in the Middle East, and other developing regions of the world.
The id:rc started to provide consulting services in areas mainly related to engineering in 2001. Those included water resources studies, transportation and traffic management studies, and environmental management studies. However, over the years, it has expanded and diversified its services to include social and socio-economic studies, feasibility studies, in addition to consulting services in the areas of economic development, public sector and state enterprise reform, private sector development, and project development and implementation. In 2006, a sister company, interdisciplinary research consultants (id:rc-US) was incorporated as a small business in the U.S. primarily to pursue U.S. Government funded consulting opportunities. Since its incorporation, the (id:rc-US) has provided services to the US Government in the Middle East, North Africa, South Asia, and Sub-Saharan Africa.
In 2012, and after nine years of operating in Iraq in a number of sectors, the id:rc incorporated a branch office in Iraq. It currently has a fully staffed and equipped office in Basra that oversees all of our activities in the various parts of Iraq.
