ATES - Association pour le Tourisme Équitable et Solidaire

ATES (Association for Fair and Solidarity Tourism) is a professional network of actors and specialists in fair and solidary tourism. Created in 2006, approved Solidarity Company of Social Utility (ESUS), ATES brings together more than 30 travel producers, tourism operators in France and associate members, all committed to making tourism a lever for development and solidarity. with local populations and actors.

The main missions of ATES:

• Be the spokesperson in France and abroad for the principles and values of fair and solidarity tourism with institutions, partners and the public (publication of articles, interviews, interventions in conferences, training, etc.)
• Make known the fair and united tourist offer of its labeled operators.
• Implement the evaluation of fair and solidarity tourism practices and guarantee, by means of the Fair Tourism® Label, that each organization complies with the commitments of the Fair and Solidarity Tourism Charter and the defined evaluation criteria .
• Animate and support the network of fair and solidarity tourism actors (training, discussion workshops, meetings, etc.)
