S2C was founded in San Jose, California in 2003 by a group of Silicon Valley veterans with extensive knowledge in ASIC emulation, FPGA prototyping, and SoC validation technologies. In 2004, S2C set up its engineering development center in Shanghai. To address a rapidly growing customer base in China, S2C subsequently established sales offices in Beijing and Shenzhen, plus a direct sales office in Hsinchu, Taiwan.
