Qatar Charity International

Qatar Charity (QC) is an international non-profit and non-governmental humanitarian organization founded in the State of Qatar in 1980.

In Qatar, QC is duly registered with the Ministry of Endowment and Islamic Affairs - Serial No. 06 dated 24/07/1994 - under law No (2) of 1974, amended by decree-law No (17) 1989 and law No (8) of 1998, which regulates the work of private societies and foundations.

In Pakistan, Qatar Charity is duly registered with the Economic Affairs Division, Ministry of Economic Affairs & Statistics under Registration No. 4(69) EA.NGO/06.

QC has its headquarters in Doha, State of Qatar and is administered by a General Assembly and a Council of Directors supported by a set of executive specialized departments and sections overseeing the execution of its yearly action plan and strategy.
QC is the oldest and biggest voluntary organisation in the State of Qatar. QC has been in a consultative status with the UN ECOSOC since 1997.
