The Reclamation Consortium is a public body, administered by its consortium members, which coordinates public interventions and private activities in the sectors of hydraulic defense and irrigation.

The consortium members are all owners of properties of any nature (land, buildings, etc.) within the reclamation area.
The expense for the maintenance, operation and custody of the reclamation works is supported by the consortium members and is divided based on the benefit obtained from the reclamation works and activities, in accordance with criteria established in the classification plan approved by the Region.
The Plan guarantees correct exercise of the taxing power.
Every five years the taxpayers elect the Assembly of the Consortium which is made up of 20 owners of properties or land within the district, who, in turn, elect the Board of Directors, the President and the Vice President.
