About
The Latin American Network for Economic and Social Justice (LATINDADD) is made up of institutions and social organizations from Latin American countries that work to solve the problems derived from the systemic crisis and to create conditions that allow the establishment of an economy at the service of the people. , in which economic, social and cultural rights become effective.
LATINDADD carries out actions to raise awareness, training, surveillance of public policies, critical analysis, development of alternative proposals, lobbying and mobilization from civil society and its social movements. Currently, 24 institutions and organizations from 13 countries : Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Paraguay and Peru, have the purpose of facilitating the exchange of information among their members, advocate jointly, contribute to the international citizen movement and contribute to regional integration and democratic change in North-South relations.
LATINDADD has as its precedent the creation of the Andean and Central American Debt Strategy Network, which was extended to other countries of the continent, through specialized institutions in these areas of work, several of which were protagonists of the Jubilee 2000 International Campaign. .
