Bethel Business and Community Development Centre

BBCDC is a commercial and technical school located in a remote rural district of Lesothothat began operations in 1993 on barren land with institutional support from UNICEF and the local RC Mission Church. BBCDC addresses several thorny and interdependent issues like unemployment, poverty and conservint the environment. Our learning system is basically experiemntal, spend less time talking but more actually doing the work.

Academic year begins in late July or early August. Applications opens in March, and Closes in May. We have two streams, Stream one being the techical stream. under it ther eare four majors: Construction, Woodwork, Metalwork and Solar Technology.
Stream two is the Commercial stream, also with four majors: Business and IT, Ecotourism and Hospitality Management, Food Science and Culinary Arts, and Agro Ecology and Environmental Science.

Duration of our courses is two years. We also have short courses for groups of people, ranging from two weeks to 6 months in Permaculture and other specilised courses depending on the need of the group.

Accomodation is available on campus, for both males and females.
