About

Enacom is an autonomous and decentralized entity that functions within the Head of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Nation. Its objective is to lead the process of technological convergence and create stable market conditions to guarantee access for all Argentines to internet services, fixed and mobile telephony, radio, postcards and television.

Enacom was created in December 2015 through Decree 267, which establishes its role as a communications regulator in order to ensure that all users in the country have quality services.

Mission:
Promote full digital inclusion, facilitating the entire population's access to the opportunities provided by Information and Communications Technologies, generating greater balance and competition between the different market actors, streamlining their development, safeguarding the due defense of users and promoting the provision of services with high quality standards, in the context of an active regulator that reinforces the regulatory and institutional framework, guaranteeing that the plurality of voices and the benefits of the information society are available to all who inhabit the national territory, especially those who live in rural, extreme and low-income areas.
