Mitra Aksi Foundation

Mitra Aksi is a non-governmental organization based in Jambi, with working areas throughout Indonesia. Mitra Aksi was founded on February 5 2000, registered with the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (HAM) of the Republic of Indonesia Number: AHU-1242-AH.01.04 of 2009. Since 2006, Mitra Aksi has been a member of the Indonesian Society for Social Transformation (INSIST) which is domiciled in Yogyakarta. Since its founding, Mitra Aksi has consistently worked to empower and organize communities in controlling livelihood and living spaces. Supported by human resources who have experience and background expertise as well as various supporting facilities (training centers, field schools, laboratories, demonstration gardens, data and media centers, libraries, offices, etc.) spread across various work areas in Indonesia. In carrying out its role, Action Partners collaborates with various parties (government, civil society organizations, international institutions, basic community organizations, farmer groups, forest farmer groups, women farmer groups, higher education institutions, mass media and the private sector) to realize community welfare. based on managing living and living space in a just and sustainable manner.
